Taking Math Outdoors: A Natural Early Math Learning Environment
The outdoors provide a rich environment for introducing early math concepts. Sheila Williams Ridge, Director of the University of Minnesota Child Development Laboratory School, shares examples of how to use materials found in nature to engage children in early math learning.
