The Reading + Learning Lab studies the intersections of language, cognition, technology, and learning, often with a focus on reading comprehension.

The Affect, Cognition and Computation (ACC) lab investigates thought and affect via experimental studies, machine learning techniques, educational data mining, and eye-tracking technology. Our group explores how these cognitive processes impact learning, attention, and overall cognitive function with the goal of better understanding the mechanisms behind various forms of thought and their implications for education and everyday life.
