Avery is a DSCN lab manager, and a research coordinator for Dr. Carlson's NIH- and NSF-funded studies. She received her BS in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in May 2026. Her research interests include children's neurodevelopment and how early environments influence neurodevelopment and mental health across the lifespan.
