Purpose
To examine behavioral response to different stimuli, such as light touch and cool.
What it looks like:
- A five-minute exam will be added onto a clinical visit you already have scheduled at the Mayo Clinic.
- Six different stimuli, such as light touch and pressure, will be applied to the back of your child’s calves for five seconds.
- Your child’s behavioral reactions, such as facial and motor responses, will be coded from a recorded video.
