Project BASE is a research study led by the University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic on early behavioral and sensory experiences in children with developmental disabilities.
The goals of the study are to:
- Characterize responses to different stimuli
- Investigate biomarkers associated with early sensory and pain processing
- Characterize parent-child social interactions during play sessions
We aim to identify characteristics associated with early sensory issues that may help improve early identification, intervention, and prevention of behavior problems.
