Thank You for Making the OLPD Student Research Conference 2025 a Success!
Dear OLPD Participants,
We thank each of you for joining us at the OLPD Student Research Conference 2025 on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Carlson School of Management. Your participation made this event an enriching and engaging experience, and your feedback would serve us immensely in preparing for our 2026 conference!
✨ “Igniting the Future: Empowering the New Generation of Scholars and Researchers in Changing Times.” ✨
A recap of this year, we gathered under the theme

From the inspiring opening remarks by Dr. Bhaskar Upadhyay, encouraging us to explore the amazing possibilities in our pursuit of knowledge, to the powerful keynote by Dr. Meixi, reminding us to keep the fire of passion and knowledge creation alive, every moment of this conference was designed to spark something in each of us. The alumni panel grounded us with realistic yet insightful reflections, offering valuable wisdom for those stepping into research and academia. The introduction of our moderated feedback session by faculty within OLPD in each of the students’ panels has also been part of the highlights, as it is grounded in our commitment to news scholar developments and our realignment of shared responsibility for the growth!
But most importantly, we celebrate —our brave and passionate presenters who took the next step in their academic journeys. Your willingness to put forward your ideas, embrace challenges, and present with excitement and curiosity was genuinely inspiring. It is a perfect reminder that all research is not just about answers—it’s about growth, exploration, and continuous learning.

As we sunset the 2025 OLPD Student Research Conference, we seek your feedback and suggestions as we gear up for the 2026 cycle! Share your feedback with us here.
Once again, we are looking forward to hearing your feedback, and once again, thank you for your presence at the conference.
Warm regards,
Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development Student Research Conference Planning Committee
