The Effects of an Online Data-based Language Intervention Decision-Making System for Professionals Serving At-Risk Infant and Toddlers

The Department of Educational Psychology is working with Drs. Jay Buzhardt, Charles Greenwood, Dale Walker and project staff at Juniper Gardens Children’s Project, as well as staff at two other universities, to evaluate empirically the efficacy of a software-based assessment, intervention design, and monitoring system for home visiting interventions designed to promote language development among young children living in poverty and with special needs. Using a wait-list randomized control group design, investigators at all four sites will provide access to a web-based resource for expanding and monitoring the effects of home-based interventions.
