In our community, we are working to promote reproductive equity related to parental incarceration and youth fatherhood through various collaborations:
- Developing community father-focused educational experiences with partners from the Northside Achievement Zone.
- Supporting a University of Minnesota (U of M) Grand Challenges research project, Identifying and Addressing Disparities in the Criminal Justice and Health Care Systems, with the U of M Departments of Pediatrics and Public Health.
- Supporting statewide doula retreats and training for professionals working with incarcerated women with the Minnesota Prison Doula Project.
