What we do in the Fam CAN lab
The Family Cognitive Affective Neurodevelopment (Fam CAN) lab has a number of ongoing research projects that involve assessments with infants, children, adolescents, and adults, as well as secondary analysis grants of existing datasets. Many of our projects involve twin families, and their children, who are participants in the Minnesota Center for Twin and Family Research (MCTFR). We are also beginning new projects with infants and children, and their parents/caregivers.
Our research projects are supported by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, and the University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development and College of Liberal Arts.
