Jodi Dworkin is a Professor and Extension Specialist in the Department of Family Social Science at the University of Minnesota; she has been there since 2002. She is also a Fellow with the National Council on Family Relations. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in Human Development and Family Studies. Her research and outreach focuses on promoting positive family development, parenting adolescents and college students, and the role of technology in these relationships – seeking to understand the ways in which and the reasons that parents and teens use technology.
