Application and Selection Process

We are looking to build a group of collaborators with diverse skills, abilities, interests, racial/ethnic backgrounds, and gender identities. In particular, we want to make sure non- or minimally-speaking autistics and those with an intellectual disability label are included as Collaborators.

Collaborators are welcome to have their support people help fill out the application and forms, communicate with the team, and attend meetings if needed. There are no educational or research experience requirements for Collaborators.

Selection will be based on whether applicants meet collaborator requirements, can fulfill the Collaborator responsibilities, and will favor a group representing a wide array of experiences. Preference will be given to those who can commit to the project until the end of the academic year (August 2023).

  • People who are interested in becoming a collaborator will need to:
    • Complete the online application
    • Sign the consent form (in the application)
  • Once selected, Collaborators will need to:
    • Sign a lab confidentiality agreement
    • Attend project orientation meeting
