At Wilder Research, Amanda provides consultation on a variety of research projects with interests in project coordination and management, survey instrument design, sampling methodology design, qualitative and quantitative analysis, evaluation capacity building, training, and reporting results in meaningful ways. Her particular data collection interests include focus group facilitation and survey interviews. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Gustavus Adolphus College and has a Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Amanda resides in Ely, Minnesota where you can find her enjoying the great outdoors with her family.

Dan received his bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in anthropology from the University of Minnesota and has worked in the data collection unit at Wilder Research since 1998. Dan manages the survey center and oversees all data collection related activities. He is also responsible for programming and managing mailed and web based surveys.

Description

Participants will learn about the different methods of qualitative and quantitative data collection and how to pick the best methodologies for different projects.
