Graduate Students

Current Graduate Students

Current graduate students interested in becoming involved in research being conducted in the Fam CAN lab should e-mail Dr. Wilson at syliaw@umn.edu.

Prospective Graduate Students

Dr. Wilson IS planning to advise new graduate students in 2025. Prospective applicants who are interested in applying for the PhD in Developmental Psychology (Developmental Science or Developmental Psychopathology and Clinical Science tracks) through the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota and who are interested in potentially working with Dr. Wilson in the Fam CAN lab can find additional information about applying to the the Fam CAN lab here. Postbaccalaureate Students

Postbaccalaureate students interested in becoming involved in research being conducted in the Fam CAN lab should complete the UGRA Application form and send an unofficial transcript and resume by e-mail to Dr. Wilson at syliaw@umn.edu.

Undergraduate Students

Please refer to the “CPSY 4994 (undergraduate directed research) opportunities” page in the main menu for information on how to get involved.

Dr. Wilson is happy to advise undergraduate researchers who are completing Undergraduate Research Opportunity Projects (UROPs), Senior Capstone projects, or Honors theses, but please note that these projects are almost always completed by current Fam CAN lab undergraduate researchers who have been in the lab for at least one term.
