Former research personnel in Jamaica

Tashaine Morrison has a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and a former Project Manager of the JUS Media? Programme Study in Jamaica. She has experience in project support and development as well as training in Project Management. Her goal is to use practices of project management together with acquired research skills, to promote positive outcomes of cultural identity, cross-cultural studies and social development, especially in adolescents and children.

Candice Wray has a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the Department of Sociology, Psychology & Social Work at The University of the West Indies (UWI), and a former Graduate Research Assistant on the JUS Media? Programme Study in Jamaica. She also received her Bachelor’s at UWI. Most of Candace’s research interest has been on adolescent mental health and sex education, leading her to focus her energy on transforming anecdotal information into scholarly information which can be used to influence public policy within Jamaican communities.

Jodi Sutherland is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (Psychology), and a current Fulbright scholar and PhD student in Behavior Science at the University of Rhode Island. She enjoys researching the areas of mental and physical health, particularly the connections that promote overall health and wellness. Jodi also has interest in global health and working with marginalized groups. Jodi is a former research assistant on the JUS Media? Programme Study in Jamaica.

Rosain Stennett has a BSc. in Foodservice Management from the University of Technology, Jamaica and an MPH (Nutrition) from Northern Caribbean University,Jamaica. She has experience in research and project development, management and evaluation in the areas of food and nutrition; nursing education; maternal and child health; mental health; and research methods. Rosain also has a strong interest in health promotion, and health policy.
