We are always excited to welcome new members who are committed to putting into action our values as applied behavior scientists and practitioners.
We currently have four types of membership:
- Core – Committed to actions + Affiliated with University of Minnesota
- Affiliate – Committed to actions + Affiliated outside of University of Minnesota
- Friend – Broadly interested in work of lab but not committed to lab-specific actions
- Alumni – Previously affiliated with University of Minnesota, not committed to lab-specific actions
Group Norms
All members of the CARE ABA Lab will:
- Keep an open-mind
- Remain culturally humble
- Celebrate different perspectives
- Actively participate in at least 1 action item per year (dependent on membership level)
- Acknowledge, be self-aware of one’s positionality, role, and privilege
- Commitment to call in/call out when necessary
